Financial Controller

Location: Warsaw

• Prepare and consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and regulatory reporting
• Prepare budgets as well as monitor its realization,
• Monthly follow-up (preparing reports including forecasting, explaining budget deviations, analysis and trends);
• Support in preparation of regulatory reporting
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Continuously improvement of systems and financial tools (production costs, efficiency, inventory control etc. as well as local taxes and VAT advisory;)
• Cooperation with auditors
• Prepare business recommendations to the senior management regarding financial and organizational issues in the short and long term perspective
• Ad hoc analysis, comments and calculations

Basic requirements:

• University degree in Finance/Banking/Economics or similar
• Minimum 4 years of work experience with similar responsibilities
• Previous experience in financial audit in one of the BIG 4 companies and subsequently in controlling would be an advantage
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong understanding of financial operations and process and knowledge of financial reporting
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Knowledge of IFRS

• Very good English in speaking and writing
• Excellent self-organization and  ability to settle right priorities in daily work
• High level of attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Have a clear understanding of development status at all times
• Own, update and manage technical project documentation, from Jira, Excel, Wiki and among others
• Liaise with development staff on a daily basis – regular check-ins & reviews

Level Artist

Responsibilities:

• Concepting game locations/level in collaboration with; Concept Artists, Game/Level Designers, Narrative Designers and others dev departments
• Setting the rough geometry of locations
• Finishing locations and cutscenes with existing meshes and objects
• Create within a full development cycle, from prototyping to finalizing levels, polishing and optimization.
• Working on asset lists and corresponding whiteboxes/greyboxes.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Level\Environment Artis
• Understanding of optimization and rendering process’ in a modern game engine
• Visual thinker and pays attention to aesthetics.
• Self-motivation and passion for building new worlds.
• Ability to set time estimates for yourself, and can effectively commit to deadlines.
• Above average collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

• Experience with 3D Software like 3ds Max/Maya and World Machine.
• Basic sketching skills, which would be helpful in presenting your ideas.
• Basic knowledge about architectural styles.

Responsibilities:

• Design levels, game mechanics and scenarios that reflect the game’s vision;
• Writes game scripts, design documents;

We require:

• 4 years of Game Design experience;

Responsibilities:

• Full level ownership until it ships (starting from paper design, through the whitebox phase, scripting, iteration, debugging and optimization)
• Feedback and collaboration with other level designers and acting as a Mentor for Junior Level Designers
• Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams involved in production process, giving and receiving feedback to all elements of the game
• Creating all necessary documentation

We require:

• At least 3+ years of experience in level design
• Understanding the role of level design in the overall player experience
• Ability to create map layouts (from scratch to fully functional levels)

Requirements:
Up to 2 years experience in the game industry is preferred with demonstrate visual effects ability
Experience with creating VFX in a game engine is a requirement
Experience in Photoshop or After Effects is preferred

Have an eye for what looks natural/believable
Able to communicate and work well with designers to anticipate their needs
Possess good problem solving skills
Solid Technical abilities to aid in creating new visual effects art pipelines
Able to keep content relevant to the current projects art style and work within those limitations
Able to find balance between quality and performance
Meticulous and organized in the approach to tasks, files and storage of the material
Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard
Play experience with a broad range of games

TECHNICAL ARTIST

The Senior Technical Artist is uniquely qualified to acting as a bridge between the Artists and Programmers working on a game in order to deliver the project on time and in line with quality expectations. He/she will be responsible for all documentation writing for art pipeline.
The Senior Technical Artist will also be responsible for ensuring that art assets can be easily integrated into a game without sacrificing the artistic vision or exceeding the platform’s technical limits through investigating new techniques and optimizations.

We require:

• At least 4 years of professional experience on the similar position
• Strong technical background in areas such as lighting and rendering, texturing, and graphics-related programming languages
• Wide knowledge of art packages ranging from modelling to texturing and special effects
